The Mandalorian nominated for outstanding drama series: Here's all 15 Emmy Nominations

The Mandalorian has received 15 Emmy nominations for Disney+.

The Mandalorian captivated an entire streaming platform audience back in late 2019, showing that Star Wars is not only fit for TV, but it could be the best TV for Star Wars fans and regular viewers alike. The Mandalorian quickly topped Stranger Things as the #1 streamed show in the United States within the first few weeks after the initial release of the first episode. Now, the better part of a year later, The Mandalorian is getting the official recognition it deserves. The Mandalorian has received 15 Emmy nominations for its efforts, seeming to prove its value and giving recognition to the Disney+ platform.

With Season 2 of the show right around the corner in November, the news of these award nominations can only bring more hype and anticipation for the follow-up season to this amazing show. While these are only nominations, it’s pretty clear that the show has had a major impact in the TV world in the past year to earn 15 nominations. Star Wars has historically struggled in notable award ceremonies and shows, but this showcases that it is starting to get the attention for the superb production value that each Star Wars project has. It seems Star Wars is starting to become respected by the film-making industry for its ground-breaking additions to the technology of the film world.
